Americans Tommy Albright and Jeff Douglas are on a hunting trip in Scotland when they become lost in the woodlands. They happen upon an ancient bridge and find Brigadoon, a miraculously blessed village that rises out of the mists every hundred years for only a day. Tommy soon falls in love with the village lass, Fiona Campbell. When he learns his love for Fiona will make it possible for him to remain in Brigadoon forever, he must choose between remaining in the present or escaping to an ethereal past.

Lerner & Loewe’s sweeping, romantic score includes the classic “Almost Like Being in Love”, “The Heather On The Hill”, “There But For You I Go” and “Come To Me, Bend To Me”.
