Richard Porter’s CHRISTMAS ON ICE is a one-of-a-kind holiday show with fun and Yuletide cheer for every member of the family. With a setting right out of Currier & Ives, a magnificent cobblestone bridge arches over the entire stage, surrounded by beautiful old-fashioned New York buildings sets the scene before the first skater appears. The show opens on a frozen pond in Central Park during the 1800’s and transforms as we take a magical journey through the years, ending with the Christmas of today.
Watch as international ice skating champions jump, spin and skate across this frozen wonderland where the audience is treated to legendary musical numbers featuring stunning costumes, spectacular choreography, brilliant lighting and mesmerizing special effects. Conceived, produced and directed by America’s foremost ice show producer Richard Porter, CHRISTMAS ON ICE has choreography by the internationally acclaimed Michiko Anzai and lighting design by the legendary Henry M. Sume.
