Forbidden Hollywood
Created and Written by Gerald Alessandrini

Hot on the heels of its wicked predecessor Forbidden Broadway, Forbidden Hollywood has come to town, guns blazing and smokin’ with attitude. Forbidden Hollywood cuts through tinseltown’s bombast and star power with surgical precision. Blockbusters like “Star Wars”, “Titanic”, “Harry Potter”, “Shrek”, “Lord of the Rings”, “Austin Powers”, and “Moulin Rouge” receive the comic once-over. No film, brand new or venerable, is safe when creator Gerard Alessandrini wields his nasty pen.

Alessandrini keeps the show topical by constantly updating the material. Other actors who are satirized include Keanu Reeves, Melanie Griffith, Cameron Diaz, Jim Carrey, Nicole Kidman, Tom Cruise and long famous stars like Katherine Hepburn, Jimmy Stewart, Marlene Dietrich, Doris Day, Judy Garland, Marlon Brando, Barbara Streisand, Audrey Hepburn, Louis Armstrong, Ann-Margaret and Liza Minelli, who sings “Mein Herr” from the film version of “Cabaret.”
